Free Stuff |
To install a screen saver, click Install (located under a picture of the
screen saver), then choose "Run this Program" (or similar text depending
on your browser.)

We have included several files on this disk for your personal use as background images for your Windows desktop!
How to change your background image:

| A new window will appear called Control Panel. Look for the Icon called "Display" and double-click it. | ![]() |

A new window called "Display Properties" appears. Click on the button called "Browse" |

| Choose an image you want as a background (you will need the filename - like Cowboy.bmp or horsePasture.bmp - in the next step). |

In the area called "File Name" type the following (replace the background's file name with the (INSERT FILE NAME) text. You can find which picture relates to which file name by looking at the images above): a:\freestuff\background\ (INSERT FILE NAME) Finally, click the "Open" button, then click "OK". |

To Install:
Click START -> Settings -> Control Panel, a new window will open called
Control Panel.
Double-click the Mouse icon. A new window will open called Mouse Properties:

Now, Click the text that says Normal Select, then choose "Browse" and the following window will appear:

At the top of the Browse window, you will see an area saying "Look in".
Click the arrow next to the file name cursors. a drop-down box will appear.
Choose 3 1/2 Floppy (A:). The contents of the e-stable disk will open in your
window. Click on the folder called "freestuff", then click on the
"Cursors" folder. Two images will appear. For the horse mouse pointer
cursor, choose
"Light Horse Cursors 1.cur", then click the "Open" button.
You will now be back at the Mouse Properties window. Now click on the next cursor we want to change . . . "Working In Background."
Follow the same steps as above (Click Browse -> a: -> FreeStuff -> Cursors) BUT for this cursor we will be selecting "Light Horse Cursors 0.cur". Click on "Light Horse Cursors 1.cur", and click Open.
You will now be back at the Mouse Properties window. Finally, click on the next cursor we want to change . . . "Busy."
Follow the same steps as above (Click Browse -> a: -> FreeStuff -> Cursors) Again, choose "Light Horse Cursors 0.cur". Click on "Light Horse Cursors 1.cur", and click Open.
You now have e-stable's Horse Cursors Installed! Congratulations!
