The Cy-Visor monocle hack is a fairly simple one that has been done by others before me (See http://www.p3ware.com/notes/notes1.htm for example). So what's new with mine? Well, the difference here is the final packaging of the cy-visor. The previous hacks that I have seen have been somewhat less covert than the one I've completed, and it's a very simple matter to make it more covert. I'm sure my abundance of hair doesn't hurt any either!
Simply open up the the cy-visor's glasses, desolder the wires going to the earpieces for the speakers (you may wish to retain these in your model - matter of individual preference). Desolder the ribbon cable joining the two eyepieces. I attempted to make the eyepiece itself smaller, but have found that it probably wasn't worth the few cm I would lose for all the trouble to repackage the eyepiece. Take the eyepiece out, and mount on the end of a boom mic from a speaker/mic headphone set. Now, instead of wearing the headphones over your ears (in the typical fashion), simply change the length (I took one of the adjustable pieces off of mine to shorten it) and place it around the back of your head at the base with the "hooks" over the back of your ears. Adjust the boom mic, and voila.
